CAAP has been selected as one of the preferred learning outcomes assessment instruments for the Voluntary System of Accountability (VSA). ( Related article )
The VSA, a joint venture between the Association of Public and Land-Grant Universities (APLU formerly NASULGC) and the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) is an attempt to provide "greater accountability by public institutions through accessible, transparent, and comparable information."
