Faces of the Future is the annual, nationwide survey of community college students conducted by AACC and ACT. Over 300 community colleges have participated in the past.
The survey allows you to gain valuable information about your students and compare your results with those of other community colleges nationwide.
Faces of the Future will help you learn:
- Your students' reasons for attending classes at your community college, the barriers they face, and their opinions of how well your institution addresses those barriers.
- Your students' expectations for service from your community college and their perceptions of how well those expectations have been met.
- Your students' educational goals, plans to earn a credential and/or degree, and the perceived personal benefits of attending your institution.
- Your students' perceptions of the way study at your community college facilitates movement into employment, career changes, and advancement to university work.
The Faces of the Future survey will be conducted throughout the academic year, from September 1, 2008, through August 31, 2009.
After you return your surveys, ACT will scan them and provide a comprehensive reporting package including summary and graphics reports for credit and noncredit students, a national comparison data report, and a data diskette.
