The McCarrel Center
The McCarrel Center, which was completed in 1995, is named in honor of the late Ted McCarrel, co-founder of ACT and former Chairman of its Board of Trustees. At the time of ACT's formation in 1959, McCarrel served as Executive Dean at The University of Iowa. During the years prior to his retirement in 1969, he was President of Cottey College in Missouri.
