IOWA CITY, IowaFour teachers were selected to spend part of their summer helping to develop the ACT Assessment, the college admissions test.
The teachers will participate in the ACT Visiting Teacher Program. The program brings teachers from across the United States to ACT's headquarters in Iowa City to work with creators of the ACT Assessment. During their stay, the teachers help evaluate and develop test materials and instructional support documents.

The program, in its seventh year, will take place June 17 to July 26, 2002.
Thirty-nine applicants from 18 states and the District of Columbia applied to take part in this year's program.
