IOWA CITY, IowaACT announced today that it has renewed its test-development contract with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), the credentialing agency for the American Dietetic Association. The agreement includes the continued development and delivery of two computer-delivered certification tests for the organization.
"We've had a successful relationship with CDR for 22 years, and we are pleased the organization continues to value our test development and delivery services," said RickiAnn Saylor, vice president of ACT's Professional Development Services.
Over the last several decades, CDR has certified more than 100,000 registered dietitians and dietetic technicians. ACT has created two exams for CDR: the Registration Examination for Dietitians and the Registration Examination for Dietetic Technicians. Those exams were converted to computer-delivered format in 1999.
The exams are currently available for delivery at ACT Center sites across the country. More than 220 ACT Center sites deliver computer-based testing and training throughout the country and are housed at community colleges, universities and workforce development organizations.
ACT, also known for the college-entrance exam, produces and delivers high-stakes professional certification and licensure exams for more than 30 client organizations nationwide. They include the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, Association of Social Work Boards and Society of Actuaries.
