IOWA CITY, IowaACT announces the launch of the school version of ACT Online Prep, the new online tool for ACT test preparation. High schools, school districts, and states may purchase the program in order to provide access to all of their students.
ACT Online Prep offers students the opportunity to prepare for the college admissions and placement exam at their convenience, anywhere they have Internet access. The program offers ACT practice tests and essays, comprehensive content review for each of the four subject areas covered by the ACT (English, math, reading, and science), plus diagnostic tests and personalized study paths. The program focuses on familiarizing students with what they will experience on test day.
ACT is offering this school version of ACT Online Prep at rates significantly lower than most comparable test prep tools. In addition, the organization is offering a 50 percent discount on the price of the program to schools with a high percentage of students—approximately half or more—who are eligible for free and reduced-price lunch.
"We believe that all students should have equal access to a college education, so we have worked hard to make this version of our online test prep program affordable to all schools," said Jon Erickson, ACT's vice president of educational services.
ACT Online Prep is also available to students on an individual basis at a cost of $19.95 per year through ACT's student website.
