| WHY: | Earning a top composite score of 36 on the ACT college admissions exam is an exceptional achievement. These students achieved a 36 on the on the ACT during the 2007–08 testing cycle completed through February 9, 2008. A 36 is the highest possible composite score. About 57,000 California students have completed the test through February 9. |
