Statement from ACT's Chief Executive Officer

"Tough Choices or Tough Times" is a hard-hitting, thought-provoking commentary that is certain to create much discussion throughout the nation. ACT has one of the nation's richest longitudinal databases (from middle school through college) and the most extensive database that exists on the skills common to most of the jobs in the U.S. workforce. We welcome the prospect of participating in dialogue on the report and to using our data to help inform serious debate about the commission’s recommendations.

Like the commission's members, our goal is to help all students achieve education and workplace success. It's a goal that must be reached if we are to secure our nation's future.
