Student Perceptions of Math Skills and Performance on the ACT® Mathematics Test
More than three-quarters of high school graduates who took the ACT® college readiness assessment in 2013 believe they need help improving their math skills. Even those students who met or exceeded the ACT College Readiness Benchmark for Mathematics1 would like to boost their math skills: over 61% of students who scored 22 or higher on the ACT Mathematics Test reported they need help improving their math skills.
