HAND PACKERS/PACKAGERS manually pack, package, or wrap all kinds of products or materials to be shipped or marketed. They clean containers, and line and pad crates. Hand packers wrap material, such as bubble wrap or foam peanuts, around the products for protection and put them in cartons. They weigh cartons and adjust amounts as needed. Hand packers may inspect products and cartons for defects as they are packing, and stamp information on the products. Hand packers/packagers keep records of the items they pack, and the weight, time, and date packaged, and stack packages on loading docks.

Entry Requirements
Employers will hire HAND PACKERS/PACKAGERS with no work experience or previous training. Some employers require a high school diploma. Employers look for people who are reliable and hard working.
