In this program, you will develop the skills necessary to use computers and visual and sound equipment to create images in film, video, photographs, and digital copy in order to simulate reality. You will study specialized camerawork and equipment operation and maintenance, image capture, computer programming, dubbing, Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) applications, and applications to specific commercial, industrial, and entertainment needs.
Degrees
- A certificate or associate degree prepares you to assist in the creation of multimedia and video productions in a studio or other setting.
- A bachelor's degree will qualify you for hands-on support jobs within the multimedia, animation, and special effects fields, including the creation of soundtracks, dubbing, and camera operation.
