In this program, you will learn basic engineering principles and technical skills to help engineers who work in research, development, and application of electricity and a variety of electrical devices and systems. You will learn electrical circuitry, prototype development and testing, systems analysis and testing, systems maintenance, instrument calibration, report preparation, testing and maintenance procedures, and safety precautions.
Degrees
- An associate degree in electricity/electronics technology will qualify for entry-level technical positions such as a technician's position in engineering firms; local, regional, and federal government agencies; and the computer and electronics industry.
