Boat Builder/Repairer
PrintWork Tasks
BOAT BUILDERS/REPAIRERS make, repair, or modify boats according to blueprints. Boat builders lay out a full-scale outline of the boat on the mold-loft floor, following blueprints and a table of offsets. They establish dimensional reference points on the layout and make templates of parts. Boat builders then draw dimensional lines on lumber, or other materials, following the templates.
