This program prepares students to serve as legal office managers, special assistants, and legal secretaries. It includes instruction in office management, secretarial science, and principles of U.S. or Canadian law. Students also study legal terminology and documentation, legal research methods, software applications, record-keeping, billing, and related administrative functions which support the activities of a lawyer. They also learn about applicable policies and regulations, and professional standards and ethics.
