Teacher (Kindergarten)
PrintWork Tasks
KINDERGARTEN TEACHERS play a vital role in the development of children. Kindergarten teachers introduce children to social climates where activities are designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth. They introduce students to language, numbers, science, and social studies. They use games, music, artwork, films, slides, computers, and other teaching technology to teach basic skills. Kindergarten teachers design classroom presentations to meet student needs and abilities. In addition to classroom activities, kindergarten teachers plan lessons, grade papers, prepare report cards, and meet with parents and school staff to discuss progress or problems of children.
